Thinking of a custom designed architecture or custom cabinet project?

Don Wilson has more than 45 years of architectural and general contracting experience.  His work demonstrates his dedication to working with a client to produce unique projects in architecture, construction, site planning and development, project management and field inspection.  As an architect with CRS Architects in the 1960s, he was involved in design development and production of numerous schools and community colleges.  He was also part of the design team for the well known Jones Hall for the Performing Arts in Houston, Texas, and the Akron Performing Arts Hall in Akron, Ohio.

In 1969 he created his own firm, Design Fabricators, and has been involved in custom residential design and construction ever since.  Many of the residences he built in the last part of the 20th century were award winning custom homes for other architects in the Houston area.  In 2001, he returned to his hometown in Vernon, Texas, where he continued his architectural practice and completed numerous exquisite custom cabinetry and mill work installations. Don and Patsy now reside near La Grange, Texas where he continues to design and fabricate in his shop all matter of interesting projects.

Don graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1962, and is currently a licensed architect with Architectural Registration #3583.
