Veteran Flag Boxes

Do you have a Memorial Veteran Flag?  Or do you just have a beautiful American flag you would like to display.  Featured here are very nice hand made flag boxes by Don Wilson.

These flag boxes were originally made for friends who had relatives with a military funeral,  and who received the American flag for their services’ to our country.  They were a heartfelt crafting of a very special box to hold and display the memorial flag with pride.

Over time, Don has made several of these and now has the jigs and templates to produce these with precision.

Each box is hand made for the memorial flag by Don, and can be constructed of walnut, oak, pecan, cherry or any other specified wood, with attention paid to the detail of the construction and finish.  The back can be removed to insert the flag behind the glass front.  A small brass plate can be attached to the lower portion, and some have requested a small drawer below the flag to retain medals and other items honoring the veteran.
